The following list explains some details pertaining to attending a Social Butterflies party:

• PLEASE BE PROMPT!  We are hired to begin a party at a designated time and if guests arrive late, it really disrupts the schedule that we prepare.  We greatly appreciate your understanding!
• For dress-up parties involving girls ages 6 and under, the best thing to wear is a leotard.  When we are putting costumes on this helps in several ways including preventing possible itching from lace that may be on a costume, helping the costume to fit better (if bulky clothes are kept on under the costumes they will usually not fit well) and it also helps eliminate the need for the girls to require a separate changing area. If you do not have a leotard or do not wish to wear one this is fine and will not be a problem.
• When  using the R.S.V.P. service please be sure to indicate any special concerns you may have, especially in regard to allergies. Regrettably, we cannot accept responses after the R.S.V.P. date listed on your invitation.  A lot of planning goes into the party and once that date passes our client is obligated for the number who have responded and no more.  We are sorry that we can not make exceptions so please, respond on time.
• We kindly ask that when you bring your child to the party if you are staying PLEASE observe with the other parents and leave the activities and selection of costumes to us.  We ask for sizes in advance so that we can come prepared with a costume selected for each child.  When a parent comes in and begins looking through our rack to find the costume they wish for their daughter to wear it causes a disruption for us.  Also, PLEASE UNDERSTAND, if you have any other children with you regrettably, we cannot have them  participate in the party.  Our parties are designed for a specific number of guests and we have to adhere to the guest list given.  It puts our client who is having the party in a difficult position if they have to ask siblings not to participate so your understanding in advance is helpful to all.  We appreciate your cooperation in these two areas very much.
• We have an online boutique available for gift shopping.  If the child whose party you are attending has a Wish List with us or even if she doesn't, you can shop for her and we will wrap and deliver the gift to the party making life easier for all of the busy parents who don't have time to shop .  If you should decide to make a purchase for the party you are attending, please enter the code PARTYFREE before completing your purchase and this will remove the shipping charge since it will be delivered personally to you.  If you should choose at that time to do other personal shopping the code can apply as well.  Just send us a note telling us which item is the birthday gift and that the rest of the order is for you. If you are shopping for a child who is not registered, please indicate that as well so that we are aware you are purchasing a gift that is to be delivered to a specific party.  We hope you will find this service to be helpful. 
• For spa parties and other themes where nail polish applications are being done, please have the girls come to the party with their old nail polish removed and their nails clean and filed. We are not licensed cosmetologists so what we do is for fun and we cannot remove the polish or file nails if the girls do not come prepared.  For spa parties, this also applies to toes.
• For Hollywood Glamour parties, it is requested that the girls bring their fanciest shoes to wear with the gowns. This is just a suggestion to help with the dress up fun.  It is certainly fine to choose not to bring shoes.
• Photo consent forms are given to each child. There is an explanation of how the photos are used on the form.  We love to show the pictures of how adorable the girls look but respect any parent's decision to decline.
